I'm...not sure what prompted this. I know I've had a story on the backburner for a while that has some major Sokka/Suki moments (no Sokka-death, though, so I can't explain the mourning in this), and of course there is my obsession with Suki and all things Kyoshi Warrior-ish...

And then there were certain things shown at *ahem* Comic Con. ^_^ Much love for the Secret of the Fire Nation previews.

And I just plain love sunflowers--they cheer me up when I feel sad, and I've felt a little sad these past few months.

But I'm still not sure why this came into being. Nor do I know why or for whom she's mourning. Maybe for her fallen warriors. But she's older here...so I dunno. I know there are some errors in her costume/pose, but it's too late to fix them. *le sigh* So they stay. (It bothers me that she's one of my faves and I still don't know her costume well enough to manage to not flub it up without a reference pic--no reference here, hence the flubs).

This was done quite a while ago, during my huge absence when my internet was in flux. It was just a bit of a doodle that grew...got colored recently (out of boredom), etc. Expect more Suki doodles eventually. She's my favorite to draw and there's soooo much excitement waiting for the next episodes...Jet probably will show up in doodles too, except he's more difficult to draw...but I do wuv him so.

On another note: *waves the Sokka/Suki banner* There are not enough fans of this pairing (or else we're all not fessing up). I would love to see more Suki art and fic. ^_____^ PLEASE?
