Pencil sketch. Colored in Paintshop Pro 7.
Originally, this was a very different picture. Duo was, intially, supposed to be wearing reading glasses (a la Wu) and in chinese-style pajamas. Yeah. Well, mid-coloring, I decided that Duo just didn't look Duo enough. So...the outfit was colored differently (orginally it was blue) and Duo's glasses became shades. At one point he had colored lenses and looked rather Elton John. Thank goodness that phase passed. The couch (yes, it's supposed to be a couch) that he's sitting on has patterns to resemble one we have at home. The background was left rather plain to emphasize Duo, and downplay my inability to do a decent bg. First pic I showed at GWAddiction, and they were all very nice about it.  I like how it turned out better than the way I intended it to look. |
