=Tissue-Issues likes/makes fun of Neji's blank expression. Alright. I can't do Neji expressions...Sorry. She also thinks it kind of looks (at least in the original sketch) like Lee is like "Ooo, GIANT Neji Plush!" *GLOMPS*
Lee should probably be bloodier, but I didn't want to mess up and get the pic too muddy or the paper too wet. I'm still reacquainting myself with the watercolor medium. Started as a doodle that turned into a sketch. It's an idea I've been playing with for a while, because as much as I love yaoi, first and foremost I am a fangirl of friendship. And if you're not friends with your rival, who can you be friends with? I have always really liked the idea of the rivals carrying each other, no matter how much perverted humor is derived from Gai carrying Kakashi piggyback style. And while Lee carrying Neji is adorable as all heck, I think it'd be lovely and endearing testament to friendship and to how a person can change for Neji to carry an injured Lee instead. (I have this whole bizarre animation idea that'll never get made scripted to Brothers from FMA with Neji carrying Lee home to safety). Watercolor pencils on watercolor paper.
